Step into Nicosia, The Living Museum: After driving across the scenic Five Finger Mountain Range, our journey begins at the old Girne city gate (Porta del Proveditore), where we’ll take a stroll past the Venetian Column towards the Buyuk Han – an Ottoman-era Caravanserai that has been beautifully restored and is now home to a vibrant arts and crafts community.
Shop, Stroll, and Savor: As we navigate the winding alleys and narrow streets of the old city, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the many small shops, both old and new, that are popular among bargain hunters. There are also many antique shops for you to explore! While the gentlemen can relax at one of the many bars and cafes, the ladies can shop to their heart’s content.Our tour also includes visiting the Selimiye Mosque, an active mosque and one of the finest examples of Gothic-style cathedrals. You’ll have the chance to explore the covered market hall (Bandabuliya), where traditional souvenirs like spices, Turkish delight, and lace are sold.
Visit the only Divided Capital City in Europe: Walking through the heart of the walled city, we’ll pass the pedestrian border crossing points of „Lokmaci” or „Ledra Street.” Remember to bring your passport, as you’ll have a few hours of free time to explore the mesmerising beauty of this unique and vibrant city.

- If the tour is cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
What do I need to bring?
- This excursion is mostly an outdoor experience and lasts for around 11 hours. So be sure to pack your essentials: portable chargers, hats, sunglasses, a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and, above all, comfortable shoes.
- Kindly ensure you check the weather forecast before embarking on your journey. If there’s a likelihood of colder temperatures in the evening, consider packing some warmer clothing.
- Additionally, when having free time you can visit the Buffer zone (Green zone) between the North and South side. For crossing the Buffer zone you will have to provide your passport to the authorities at the place.
